Finally A New Talking Point...
Lately I have been wondering when Progressive Democrats would launch some new material. The screeching accusation of fascism has been around since Barry Goldwater. The word “racist” has lost all meaning. Do not like the millions of illegal aliens who entered the US, egged on by foreign governments and the Biden administration? RACIST! Yawn.
Another tired talking point is “no one listens to or believes women”. Almost 5 years ago I challenged that chapter of victim/oppressor ideology in “Bad Ole Men”. But the SAVE America Act has saved us. With its passage in the House, the Progressive Democrats have launched new material. Are you ready for it women? You’re not just perpetual victims, you’re also stupid and incompetent.
The SAVE America Act requires documentary proof of US citizenship such as a birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers when registering to vote in Federal elections. Critics argue that married woman who changed their name might have to submit additional documentation such as an updated passport or marriage license since their legal name no longer matches their birth certificate.
It is pure progressive gold that female politicians are telling married women they are incapable of this simple task:
The not so subliminal message is that married women are too stupid to gather two documents instead of one. Plus, someone should tell Ocasio-Cortez that married women don’t update their birth certificates.
Just a tiny bit of thought pierces this argument. Any women who changed her name after marriage likely had to present a marriage license to update her driver’s license, social security card, passport, financial accounts, voter registration, insurance policies, professional or occupational licenses and property titles. Having gone through the process, it was somewhat time consuming but certainly not an unacceptable burden. Nor has there ever been a public outcry that women were unable to complete these bureaucratic tasks. Until now. Progressive Democrats say requiring women to present these documents is another “war on women” and “voter suppression”.
The only votes this bill would suppress are those of illegal aliens and fraudsters. While critics suggest there is no evidence that illegal aliens vote, considering the dramatic rise in the number of illegal aliens, it seems perfectly logical to ensure it won’t happen. Recent polling suggest Americans agree by a wide margin.
To suggest women are too incompetent to provide voter ID and proof of citizenship is so silly we can assume it is cover for another motive. We should always be on alert when politicians cover their true intent with lies.
For example in Georgia after the 2021 Election Integrity Act was passed, Democratic politicians from top to bottom reacted hysterically with accusations that it was Jim Crow 2.0 and “voter suppression”. The insanity culminated in Major League Baseball moving the 2021 All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver in protest of voter ID. The “voter suppression” talking point proved false. In 2022, voter turnout increased even for minorities.
The SAVE America Act poses no more risk of voter suppression than Georgia’s Election Integrity Act. In fact, it aims to restore confidence in our electoral system. Why would any politician oppose that?
Women, let’s reject this latest talking point and see it for what it is: an attempt by Progressive Democrats to weaponize us to advance a hidden agenda, one that likely serves their interests far more than ours. The days of women being treated like chattel are long over. Why would we let any politician, red or blue, abuse us with their insinuations of victimhood, stupidity, and incompetence. Isn’t it time we finally say, “Enough is enough”?
Urge your Senator to vote yes on the Save America Act. Let’s restore voter confidence and protect the electoral process.

These women are literal idiots. I have served as an election officer, off and on, since I was 18, and in two states, and never once did a woman present her birth certificate as an ID at the polls. A driver's license, a voter registration card, a utility bill - yes. But, never a birth certificate. And, if a woman is too stupid to figure out the paperwork required to change her name officially, or to seek assistance to accomplish the same, she doesn't need to be voting.
I believe it is an effort to encourage women not to take their husband’s names, not a statement about voting. At least, that’s what I think the underlying messaging is going to eventually be about. Another effort to fray the bonds of nuclear families, unity, and the power of individual households. Another effort to “smash” the (nonexistent) fictional fevered version of the patriarchy they have in their heads. And more impetus to drive women into the ditch of perpetual unhappiness and dissatisfaction as they try to make men out of them.
