Dear President Trump,
We need new adjectives to describe our current state of affairs. Outrageous, duplicitous, unbelievable, insane, frightening don’t tell the story anymore. Things are getting weird. Very weird.
Americans have witnessed President Biden’s cognitive decline since before the 2020 election, incredulous that he was selected to run again. As he stumbled and mumbled, Democrats told us how sharp Biden was and launched a coordinated lawfare strategy against you. This strategy succeeded in getting you the nomination. Democrats were delighted due to your weakness with swing voters. Overall, however it backfired spectacularly, and your popularity surged. Biden’s tanked.
On Thursday, June 27 during the debate, Biden revealed he was anything but sharp and that his handlers had been lying. Once the game was up and his chance of winning were nil, party bosses joined with the media to force him out. Amid this “coup”, someone attempted to assassinate you on Saturday, July 13. The Secret Service displayed an unbelievable level of incompetence.
On Monday, July 15 you were formally nominated at a unifying and successful RNC convention which ended Thursday, July 18. On Sunday, July 21, Biden withdrew from the race via social media. This changed the media narrative instantly. As Biden remained in hiding for days, the public wondered if “Weekend at Bernie’s” had become a reality.
With a speed that indicated significant advance planning, party bosses ran roughshod over the typical nominating process and anointed Vice President Harris to lead the ticket. The talking points and memes were operational by Monday, July 22. The money started flowing again and Harris was touted as God’s gift to the country. This is the same word salad, incompetent Vice President who is so unpopular her favorability rating is lower than Biden’s. As usual, we were told to ignore our lying eyes.
Luckily, not everyone has obeyed that command. An eyes wide open movement is expanding rapidly. We are a collection of republicans, conservatives, libertarians, disillusioned democrats, swing voters, you name it. We are sick of the massive nationwide con jobs, the incessant lies, and people’s blind acceptance of them. We have had enough of critical race theory, queer theory and all its friends. Among many other things, we want secure borders and a sensible immigration policy that attracts the best and brightest. We want fiscal responsibility and an administration that understands economics. We want to crush the censorship industrial complex and bolster our national security with common sense energy and foreign policy that respects our environment. We feel the country has shifted away from “by the people and for the people” to “by the elites and $*#@ the people”.
You, President Trump, are now the leader of this movement. Forgive the understatement when I say, this is an extraordinary responsibility in extraordinary times.
I have no idea if you will ever see this letter but if you do, my purpose is to offer observations as a concerned citizen who wants our movement to succeed. Please accept these suggestions in the constructive spirit in which they are intended.
Overconfidence would be a huge mistake. Certainly, you are aware that a notable percentage of the country would never vote for you even if they agree with your policies. Why is immaterial. The hatred is real. Their choice to vote against you will be made easier by the emerging fairy tale version of Kamala Harris.
You are no doubt aware that to win you need to expand your base and attract not only swing voters, but a good number of the folks referenced above. Your rambling, unfocused acceptance speech was a missed opportunity to reintroduce yourself to them. While it is understandable that the events of the previous days probably contributed to your performance, your job is now much harder.
It seems the best way to communicate your vision is via a clear focused explanation of the Republican platform and how it will elevate our country and its citizens. In efforts to relay the starkly different visons embodied in this election, we respectfully request speeches be devoid of all nicknames, references of how much people like you and snark. That may be red meat to the base but the people you need to win can’t stand it. Nice is not necessary. Clear, sincere and to the point is.
You see, people are funny. They can hyper focus on a minute detail which obscures the big picture. For example, the tag Lyin’ Kamala might annoy a swing voter so much they ignore the intended message - that Harris believes in open borders, health care for illegal immigrants, abolishing ICE, elimination of private health insurance, banning fracking, etc. She and her handlers will bankrupt the country. To counter the constant media propaganda and gaslighting, we must remain committed to big picture reality and avoid frivolous chaff that diverts the voters’ attention. The Democrats will be doing plenty of that. Let’s not help them.
We are all so sick of the massive lies, con jobs and “cheap fakes” that have been foisted on the country. I know lies are a stock-in-trade for politicians, but it is unnecessary. You have enough true material to swing support your way, so we beg of you, stop the exaggerations and lies. Please get the statistics correct. It only gives the Democrats talking points.
Your behavior now is your most potent weapon to earn the people’s trust. You made serious mistakes before and after the 2020 election. Somehow, you must give people confidence that you have learned the necessary lessons.
Finally, in combination with the lawfare strategy which helped promote you in the primary, this latest gambit in the Democrat’s election strategy is stunningly deceptive. While referring to the swap out of Biden for Harris as a “coup” may be an easily delivered and consumed talking point, it misses the broader plot.
We can safely assume that Biden and the Democrat power bosses knew unequivocally that Biden was in serious cognitive decline before he was selected to run again in 2024. Then, as outlined in this Racket News article, it is a fact that the democrat primary was engineered to exclude any who could offer a serious challenge to Biden. This boxed the voters in with no real choice other than a candidate with obvious dementia symptoms. How is that democracy?
We should all ask why the democrat machine deployed a scheme to essentially bypass the voters and run a man incapable of running the country. One possible reason is to give party bosses options. With an aging, cognitively impaired Biden at the top of the ticket, they had the perfect bomb to throw into the election cycle should they need it - a bait and switch. It turned out they desperately needed it due to their own miscalculations regarding Biden’s rate of decline, the failure of the lawfare against you and the growth of our movement among minority voters. The explosion of the bait and switch bomb (e.g. election interference) was timed perfectly to deflect media attention away from your fist in the air.
Another goal, and perhaps the primary one, appears to be the distraction necessary to install another younger puppet president who is openly progressive. Because most Americans reject far left progressive ideology, Harris would not have survived the scrutiny of a primary much less a full presidential election season. To know her is not to love her. With the make believe rebranding underway, early voting only 8 weeks out in two states and an opponent who is despised by half the country, will the democrats be able to convince enough people she is a moderate superwoman who never was the border czar? Can the machine keep Harris on a teleprompter to avoid her ubiquitous word salads? You bet. Although I have hope that most American’s are smarter than that. They know or instinctively feel this is all too weird.
President Trump, my assumptions above regarding motive are logical and almost obvious, yet unverified. Can you confirm why Biden was tapped to run again when the party bosses knew he did not have the mental acuity to be president? Was Biden in on the con and or a dupe from the beginning? Who has been running the country? Was the real plan all along to circumvent the democratic process and install a progressive puppet? Next, how can this information be delivered to the voters? We will only achieve unity if the public understands the enormity of this giant middle finger to the American voter and the potential impact to our republic.
You of all people know this current version of the Democratic party will stop at nothing to win. Worse, we are only mid-plot. It is my fervent hope that we approach this election with far more finesse and strategy than Republicans have managed in the past. To win, we must.
Let’s fight for our country together.
Sincerely,
Sue Seboda
Update 7.29.24 - In the first paragraph I used the word “weird” to describe the deeply unsettled feeling caused by events of the last year and especially the last month. Just after posting the above, Democrat machine spokespeople simultaneously described JD Vance as weird. How dare they ruin another good word with inappropriate over saturation! I am not crazy about participating in verbal clumps so figured I would change the word but then the reactions were so great, decided to stick with it. Let’s view the use of “weird” as subtle sarcasm…
So much to digest in this excellent letter that I hope will be published in many newspapers. The big lie is that Biden was not suffering cognitive decline and that should make everyone think about how “great” we are being told that Kamala is. Her border czar job was an epic fail. You can hear her say how progressive her thinking is. Not what America needs right now.
We all wish we had better choices but here we are.
Sue, I respect you quite a bit, but I take issue with you here. You are justifiably against Kamala being "anointed," yet here you are proclaiming Trump to be the "leader" of the "eyes wide open" movement. Sorry, but my eyes are pretty wide open, and I see RFK, Jr. as being the most legitimate leader of that movement -- to the extent that we should be focused on a single "leader" to save us at all. Trump is, and always has been, about whatever promotes the interests of Donald Trump, first and foremost.
Trump promised to drain the swamp, and yet he appointed Deep State denizens like Mike Pompeo and John Bolton to head the State Department, as well as:
• Shipping heiress Elaine Chao to run the Department of Transportation
• Coal lobbyist Andrew Wheeler to run the EPA
• Pharma Exec Alexander Azar to run HHS
• Oil Lobbyist Ryan Zinke to run the Department of the Interior
He did nothing to stop the military-industrial complex, but expanded it just like his predecessors. He committed illegal acts of military aggression against Syria and ordered the murder of General Soleimani in Iraq in flagrant violation of international law. He is a big friend to Big Pharma. He put Anthony Fauci in charge of the COVID response, imposed lockdowns and pushed an experimental RNA "vaccine" on the American people. He betrayed opponents of sending more billions of dollars to Ukraine -- see, e.g., https://www.mtracey.net/p/never-forget-that-donald-trump-snookered and https://www.mtracey.net/p/trump-being-a-convicted-felon-does.
I would urge readers to visit the https://www.kennedy24.com/ website and look at RFK, Jr.'s actual policy prescriptions, rather than the corporate media's deceptive "spin" about him and vote for the most principled leader of the "eyes wide open" movement.
