As the progressives decide whether to blame their stunning defeat on uneducated white women, misogyny, racism, Walz, or Biden, perhaps the democrats left in the party will look in the mirror instead and admit insulting the voters was a bad idea. Will they also realize that the insults were the “wafer thin mint”? The final straw after voters endured bald-faced lies, Machiavellian strategies, awful policy positions and Harris’s fake accents? Time will tell.
The very nature of this election was a slap in the people’s face. Tapping Biden to run again when he was in obvious mental decline, then contorting the primary to eliminate competition was a sure sign the hard left was up to no good. Simultaneously the machine deployed a lawfare strategy to manipulate Trump’s base to nominate him with an additional goal of crushing Trump in the general with the felon tag.
Shortly before the election, the coup de grace was launched. Biden was undemocratically swapped out for a dedicated progressive shrouded in a media created avatar. In a flash, Harris went from a deeply unpopular Vice President to the darling Bluebird of Joy. Even more bizarre was how many people instantly fell for it.
The progressive machine’s condescending election strategy continued with Harris. She showed her contempt for the voters when she deflected questions on critical issues with a phony “middle class” joyful countenance.
She dismissed voters’ financial worries when she promised to tackle inflation with price controls on groceries. Delivering such a superficial, narrow “solution” to deflect from her own role in spurring inflation was insultingly obvious. Plus when have price controls ever worked?
Harris disrespected the voters when she dodged questions on the progressive party’s effort to saturate our society with gender ideology, a ridiculous theory that teaches kids they can change their sex with a statement. She attempted to hide the fact that the Biden/Harris administration compliments this redefinition of human sexuality with “gender affirming care”, a sick euphemism that pushes vulnerable kids and young adults into the arms of the party’s bedfellow, Big Pharma.
While the Harris avatar talked like a moderate, the selection of Tim Walz was the machine’s clearest signal of their true intent. He is as woke as woke can be. Walz was a key cog in the 2020 BLM get out the black vote scam. It is safe to assume the party envisioned a nationwide version of his legislation on gender ideology and its spawn “gender affirming care” which puts vulnerable children at risk and prioritizes the state over parents.
A personal favorite was Harris’s gaslighting on the border. It’s all Trump’s fault that she and Biden reversed Trump’s policies. Millions of unvetted illegals sauntered into the country some of whom have committed heinous crimes. Ignore the fact that it has become a big business funded by citizen tax dollars to the tune of about 150 billion annually. It would be interesting to know how much of this money was funneled back into progressive coffers.
When dodgeball and joy failed, the machine went full on nazi hunter. They gambled that ingrained Trump hate could be magnified by initiating a “TRUMP IS A FACSIST NAZI” campaign. No doubt they had visions of a frothing mob rushing to the polls to save democracy while blind to the progressive policies they were actually voting for. Did they fail to notice they also implied Trump supporters were nazi sympathizers?
Subtle insults soon shifted to outright insults. Trump supporters are garbage. There are no strong, smart women around Trump. Black men who don’t vote for Harris have a problem with women. Translation - black men are too stupid to evaluate a candidate on merit. Women are subservient. They should vote for Harris and lie to their Trump loving, toxically masculine husbands. It was sickening.
On election day, the garbage spoke loud and clear. The majority rejected the bold election interference, the media generated avatar and the party’s effort to browbeat them into voting for Harris. While many had legitimate questions about Trump, they chose the team who acknowledged their concerns and pledged to fix what the hard left had broken. The strategies deployed to solidify progressive hold on our country backfired spectacularly.
The Biden and Harris concession speeches were curiously devoid of references to the nazi monster we just elected, exactly when democracy would end or how stupid the electorate was. It was disorienting and reminiscent of an abuser who beats their spouse senseless then acts like nothing happened.
In the future, let’s hope the majority will readily recognize and soundly reject false narratives deployed by political machines via a propagandist media. If we don’t bite, they will be neutralized. It is our personal responsibility to separate fact from fiction and act accordingly.
The Trump team has a monumental job. Aside from dealing with wars, inflation, the border, national security and a host of other critical issues, they must also grapple with the progressive machine that has wreaked so much havoc. They will not give up easily. How the Trump team manages the coming attacks will in part define Trump’s presidency. The best weapon is unbridled success. Let’s focus our energy on that.
Perfectly said, and I’d also add that not for retribution but for justice we need to punish the criminals who’ve perpetrated great injustices against our people and our country.
This is a brilliant piece that deserves broad dissemination. Let's do it.
This is as powerful as Michael Moore's famous, but unintentional, endorsement of Donald Trump in 2016 when he said that a Trump win would be the biggest F.U. to a corrupt ruling class in history.
