Perfectly said, and I’d also add that not for retribution but for justice we need to punish the criminals who’ve perpetrated great injustices against our people and our country.
Thanks El Gee. Yes I would like to see them punished as well but I worry if congress spends time on that, they will neglect the big picture. We need their full and undivided attention on getting this country back on track.
It won't be congress but the DOJ and AG. They MUST do this. If you don't punish bad behavior, you get a lot more of it. Exhibit A: Trumps first term, then Biden. The lawfare grew like malignant cancer.
btw did you see Trump's statement on going after the censorship industrial complex, prosecuting all those who have broken the law and passing a law that prohibits any government agency to request or require censorship on social media? Was great.
It certainly did. Yes it is true. Because there has been no accountability, it all just keeps happening. Hopefully they can do it in a way that does not dominate or divert.
This is a brilliant piece that deserves broad dissemination. Let's do it.
This is as powerful as Michael Moore's famous, but unintentional, endorsement of Donald Trump in 2016 when he said that a Trump win would be the biggest F.U. to a corrupt ruling class in history.
"Shortly before the election, the coup de grace was launched. Biden was undemocratically swapped out for a dedicated progressive shrouded in a media created avatar."
Brilliantly put and I do think this was what killed them.
The margins in several "Blue Wall" states were quite thin and a few hundred thousand votes that decided them *might* have gone Dem (if they had come out to vote) if they'd either stayed with Biden or come up with a better candidate.
Yes agree. The Dems overall strategy to keep Trump front and center might have worked if their arrogance had not blinded them. The country has had enough of BS that Harris was peddling.
Well, we will soon get a glimpse of the true soul of America, if there is one left. I’m watching, like a hawk, every move the deportation project makes. They put the man responsible for the family separations at the border last time, in charge again. I swear to god, if they pull one kid out of the arms of family….I’m hoping against hope they learned a terrible lesson last time.
Well…you got things correct in the title. The rest was a pretty standard bog wash without any critical analysis of the voter stats. You’ve parroted the standard Woe-is-us-we’ve-been-insulted whine and ignored the Let’s-all-deny-we-voted-for-an-actual-low-life-for-President mantra. Y’all sound like crying Dems.
Interesting Michael. So you are good with how the Dems interfered in the election with the indictments, running a guy with dementia and then swapping him out soon before the election with a hard core progressive who would have washed out of any primary?
At the end of the day this is about policy and the direction each candidate regardless of how flawed would have taken the country. I don't agree with much that Biden did or Harris would do. While Trump was not my first choice, he had my total support in the election for what he and his (hopefully good) team will do.
I see. Instead of owning the Garbage Opposition Party’s nonsense you’ve gone to the What-about… argument. The vote for Trump wasn’t just for or about him it’s really about all the dangerous authoritarian sycophants using his dumbass as their useful fool domestically and internationally. Read a little history from the presidential elections for these “populist” candidates and you should recognize the patterns. You only need to go back to the early 1900s and move forward to Reagan. You don’t even need to read any modern world history to get it.
Unfortunately we live in alternate information universes.
The authoritarian tendencies I worry about are the Dem attempts to crack down on free speech. If you are unfamiliar with this would suggest starting with Michael Shellenberger and Matt Taibbi. Or just listen to how Dem party elites all signaled a crackdown on "misinformation" just before the election. Or look at what is happening in Europe where other progressives are in charge.
We experienced the greatest shift to authoritarianism with covid. The progressive governors were outrageous in their overreach. Biden and Harris were all in on vaccine mandates etc. Under no circumstances would I ever vote for anyone who took it all as far as these two did. Neither Biden or Harris took a stand against the teachers unions who forced school closures for far longer than was necessary. This is proven by the states that opened schools in Sept 20 or did not close them at all. The unnecessary damage they all caused is inestimable.
Have you researched the push to saturate our society with gender ideology and Harris's full support of "gender affirming care"? Sadly many in the country do not grasp the issue and direct their attention to the very rare child who suffers from gender identity issues. it doesn't take much research to see what Harris stands for is barbaric.
I do not buy the Trump is hitler BS. He is a lot of things but he isn't that. I had to laugh when Dem candidates in contested elections started siding with "Hitler" to win their elections. It's all theater and bad theater at that.
I could go on but time for dinner. Have a good night and thanks for interacting.
Alternate information universes? More like alternate interpretations based on depth and width of the topic being discussed. If this is a free speech issue for you then say that. I’ve no truck either with the hypersensitive responses of either end of the spectrum in this. I grew up with the Sticks-and-stones Philosophy and free speech debates were focused more learning about why you shouldn’t cry “Fire!” in a crowded theatre. Write and say whatever drivel comes but don’t expect to be taken seriously if your utterances deny basic reality.
Covid was a statistical and logistics exercise which started in 2020 after your boy, Felonious 47 (then 45), got into the WH. We’re lucky the virus’ mortality rate wasn’t higher. Our country succeed *and* failed…just incompetent enough to survive. It certainly showed how delicate our supply chain was to handle a pandemic and a concomitant economic slowdown. The school closures were based on risk mitigation and funding threats. Wasn’t DeVos head of that nonsense during Covid? Why didn’t she open the funding gates to the state departments of education and let them decide?
From having a wife in educational administration, I can tell you that all the “gender affirming care” I’ve seen have been public schools playing middle man and helping “parents” not treat their kids as damaged. Or comfort them when their kid hung themselves in the barn. Yeah, that’s not an exaggeration.
We’re in agreement that “Trump is Hitler is BS”. Hitler was smarter…way smarter. He really was running the show despite having so many willing acolytes and devotees. Actually, if Felonious 47 was smarter, he’d be really dangerous. Right now the “bad theatre” is lackeys in positions of power who want to ride the gravy train of POTUS access.
The purveyors of Democracy also chose B*den in 2020 despite The Bern who was leading at the time. Just like in 2016 when Hilary was chosen over The Bern. Hilary was chosen, B*den was chosen, Harris was chosen. The whole Democrat party is a study in the psychological illness known as "Projection".
Perfectly said, and I’d also add that not for retribution but for justice we need to punish the criminals who’ve perpetrated great injustices against our people and our country.

Thanks YourUnclePedro! I appreciate it.
Should have worded it as follows.
the biggest F.U. to the CORRUPT ruling class in history.
Done!
Could not agree more!!! 💯🎯🇺🇸🙏❤️
Thanks Lisa! This all seems so self evident it is hard to conceive of the social media meltdown.
Yes, but with this meltdown, now we can at least now, understand how we got here!!!!
Part of that map is a lie because I know that a lot of the people who are in Philadelphia voted for Trump but what do I know.
Yes no doubt!
Outstanding!
Thanks Brandy! I am just so glad the country is waking up!
Nicely summation of a Summer of Simmering Sow Smog. ;)
lol! Thanks Scott Michael!

Absolutely - it came down to arrogance. Also, they panicked. They gave in to media hysteria post-debate.
And where does the arrogance come from? Many sources but primarily.....
Obama.
This blog is brilliant and spot on ! Thank you for taking the time to write it and post on FB 👏👏👏👏
Thanks Rita!!
I appreciate any post that places “progressive” in the same sentence as “condescending.” They go together like milk and cookies! :)
Yes indeed!
Brilliant recap.
+50 points for including Mr. Creosote!
Thanks Wizard of Words! Lol re Mr Creosote! I must watch that movie and all those movies again

So true. With every accusation I take a look at what they are actually doing...
