“the Wrong People are Silent” for a reason, we have nothing to protest. We in spirit agree with what the Trump Administration, DOGE as part of the administration, Homeland Security and the rest. Do we need to counter protest the protesters? Which side will MSM take? for an answer just look at any Jewish groups that try to resist the pro-Hamas demonstrators. MSM is in the pocket of the Dems.

The wrong people are silent because the professional protesting class belongs to the left. They are the ones who demand that government do for the people. The rest of us, who believe that the government is a means of last resort, are too busy doing, for ourselves and our families and our coworkers and our communities, to go and protest (or support via counter protest) in anywhere near the same numbers. It has always been thus.

Yes I agree. I think there might be something else as well. I attended the local “Hands Off” rally and among many reactions I was reminded that I would never spend the day walking around with a meaningless sign.

We are like herding cats. Independent.

When counter pressure and encouragement to weak politicians needs to be applied, as it does now, and voting is not the answer, we need to find an effective way to do so.

Fair, though do the polls currently reflect the view of the silent majority? If so, is that not generally sufficient? It really seems to me to be a small minority that are out there protesting. The problem is the media love it. We could start by jailing the property vandals (and start making them liable for civil damages) - is that happening yet?

Sue Seboda's avatar

That does appear to be happening. It will help.

Not sure the polls are enough for politicians on both sides to override their self interest. It is an assumption, but perhaps a safe one, that members of both parties have participated in the graft that musk is likely to find. That might make them less likely to support it in the long run with the necessary legislation.

We do need to peacefully protest our support.

I think the reason people are against doge is because they are getting rich on the corruption and don’t want to be caught. Soros and his gang are probably spear heading the demonstrations, and they have been getting rich stealing the tax payers money. Politicians from both sides have probably been involved in the thefts. Just look at the bank accounts of some of these politicians.

It would be interesting to do a forensic audit of NGO’s financial books. It is there that the use of Government funding will be fully accounted for: by whom, to whom, for what use.

I am silent because (1) whenever I try to logically formulate a post that reflects what you have so eloquently done here I am attacked and (2) probably more important to me is that it does no good. They do not listen. My great niece just gave a paper to a conference in Las Vegas of Broadcast and print media. The subject is How the American People trust or don’t trust Science due to covid misinformation and the media’s role in spreading it. She just gave it two days ago. Had the Democrats won she would not have been able to present the paper. The paper will be printed in September and it will be one more piece of information available to the public of what is going on with the media yet those who need to read it, won’t. The only hope here is that the media she is providing this well researched and undeniable breach of trust will realize they are losing out and that their credibility is gone down the tubes with 79% of their viewership. I will share your post but my social accounts don’t contain any of these protestors. The media has to change their tune before people wake up. Us being vocal to our government is moot because they are already attuned to our feelings.

Yes I agree with much of what you said. I still try though. You never know who might listen. The most juvenile of the attack lines I received from this article - “you sound dumber than a shit fly”. I would love to read your great neice’s paper if you are up for sharing it.

I will always try in my way. My champion is RFKjr … I’m in love with him in fact and have supported him throughout his campaign. I live on Maui and he actually came here after the fires. Biden was on vacation. He didn’t come and make a speech he came and met with Eddy Garcia of Living Earth Systems who took him out to survey the real damage and what the Army Corps of Engineers were removing the toxic waste and filling a porous cinder cone that drains to the oldest living reef in Hawaii. My intent from the beginning was to get Bobby in the White House and when he withdrew I went silent. Listening to his speech when he announced he was throwing in with Trump took me out. I was still going to vote for him but they took him off the ballot in Hawaii. When Trump got shot and that night Bobby leaked a convo he had that Trump promised to support him. That was Bobby’s ace in the hole as he knows Trump very well and wanted an assurance that if he put in that Trump would let him do what he wanted to do … save the kids. So Bobby prayed for 20 years for God to give him a way and God gave him Trump. I guess God also gave me Trump. By that time I voted for Trump because I wanted to not because of the alternative world let the world go darker and darker until there was no light left. That’s where us light workers come in. btw today is Robert Kennedy’s Jupiter Return. i know because it is also mine. My pronouns are I and Me. my website is cocononi.com. Send me a note through the contact form so we can keep in touch. The paper will be a while down the road but I thank God Trump got elected in so many ways. For the long run? I’m liking the run so far and I hope we can get there with so much less drama.

Near the end of the Biden Admin, its own Government Accounting Office (GAO) identified $500 billion in waste/fraud that needed to be cut or clawed back. Biden just didn’t do anything about it — deciding it was easier to ignore the problem & easier to continue abusing taxpayers.

This really isn’t a Democratic/Republican or left/right issue.

It’s a matter of:

right/wrong

legal/illegal

legitimate/fraudulent

authorized/unauthorized

legislated/imaginative

These protests are mostly performative, not productive, anyway. They’re just making themselves feel better about losing, but politically, they’re also making it look as if Democrats oppose any and all spending cuts. That’s a win-win for Trump and Republicans. https://jimfossel.substack.com/p/are-protests-performative-or-productive

Good presentation and great perspective.

Three things to add:

1) There are three groups of people in our society that are involved in the “anti-doge” movement. The first being the ignorant masses that are unwilling and sometimes even unable to think for themselves due to poverty, lack of education and critical thinking skills, and sadly, irrational hatred for Trump, Musk, and his inner circle.

Unfortunately, the only way to deal with this first group of actors has to be “overwhelming force”. They will not under any circumstance change their beliefs so they must be stopped. Jail them as domestic terrorists (just like the Biden administration did to the J6er’s).

Initially it will cause an even greater uproar from the silent haters. But as the system initiated by Trump begins to show positive effects to the economy (and the hot heads have had some time to settle down) cooler heads will begin to prevail. And yes, I do mean: put grandma and her followers in jail!! It’s our only hope of stopping this civil attack on our beloved Republic.

Which leads me to the second group of miscreants:

2) the true marxists. These are the folks among the demonstrators (notice the first SIX letters of this word spell “demons”). They are intermingled within the protest groups aiding in fomenting increasing violence and chaos in order to gain maximum media attention so that we, the silent majority, continue to shake our heads in disbelief at the stupidity of it all; all the while the protests gain momentum and gather more of the group 1 idiots in order to achieve their goal. That goal of course is continued unrest and destruction of property all in the name of social upheaval and eventually socialist/communist ideological transformation.

This is nothing new. It’s what BLM did less than 5 years ago and it’s what ActBlue is doing now. As General Michael Flynn has written about (with his own personal experience of Marxist manipulation during his tenure with Trump in his first term in 2016 with the Crossfire Hurricane investigation).

All of these types of attacks on our Republic seem random and irrational, yet are very much integral and effective in achieving their objectives: social upheaval with the ultimate goal of destroying the basic American fabric of civility in the name of Marxist revolution. This is nothing more than what Obama and his minions succeeded in creating during his tenure as a protege of Saul Alinsky via George Soros.

Which leads to the final group of bad actors:

3) These are the true demons.

They are the leaders of the underworld. Most of them are untouchable simply because they are so wealthy that they have multiple layers of protection around them both financially and physically. They sit in their mansions all over the world and play with their group two operatives much like pawns in a chess game, by shifting their funds around (most by the way, stolen from the very institutions and governments they are intent on destroying).

They have no morals. They have no concern for how many deaths occur or how much destruction they can cause to happen. Their goal is complete world domination and complete destruction of the middle class, including depopulation on a massive scale.

(Witness the African continent, the Covid pandemic, and before that the gene modification schemes of the early 80’s, ie, Fauci, when AIDS was first introduced into the human population).

This unrest we see currently is again nothing new. It’s part of the New World Order’s plans for domination.

It’s also a biblical battle between good and evil.

We were fortunate enough (may I say “blessed” enough) to witness the new leader of the free world turn his head in a split second before a bullet missed his brain by mere millimeters). He admits it was a divine intervention. I believe it was as well.

Good people of Substack: these three groups of people MUST BE STOPPED if we wish to see our children and grandchildren survive. It’s that urgent. As a nation of people that grew up during a time when we still could gain an education and learn to think for ourselves, the time to stop them is NOW!! If we fail, there will not be another chance.

The evil is real and they are prepared to up the ante if we don’t go to battle with them immediately.

So yes, the grandmas of this insanity need to be jailed. They’ll thank us later. In the meantime those jailed as terrorists can truly be identified and kept there. Let grandma go. She’ll gladly go home and shut up.

Then do whatever is necessary to the domestic terrorists (group two) in order to identify exactly who the group three monsters are.

(We know who they are anyway).

We need the group two actors to state specifically on tape who they are funded by (group three knows that group two is expendable, can you say “Jeffrey Epstein “?).

This is war! Substackers: don’t think for one second this war isn’t on our shores. It’s not just in Europe or Asia or Ukraine or the Middle East. It’s in DC, it’s in Philadelphia, it’s in Minnesota and North Carolina and Arizona and Texas and Georgia. It’s in our homeland!!

God help us if we don’t have the courage to get grandma to shut up long enough to stop this evil.

I don’t believe we will get another chance. The consequences of staying silent are that dire.

It’s not just MAGA.

It’s time to save our world.

Choose.

Yes, our fiscal trajectory is unsustainable—but let’s not pretend that DOGE is some neutral solution. It’s a billionaire-led restructuring plan wrapped in populist language, built on the same playbook we’ve seen in other authoritarian shifts: weaponize real economic concerns, discredit dissent, and push extreme changes under the guise of “sanity.”

Let’s be real—Trump added nearly $8 trillion to the debt during his term before COVID hit. And Elon Musk? He’s no fiscal savior. He’s burned billions in investor capital, crushed labor organizing, and thrives off government subsidies while preaching “freedom.”

The protest signs aren’t about violence. They’re about not handing the government over to the ultra-rich under the illusion they’ll fix it. People are angry because DOGE isn’t reform—it’s a hostile takeover of democratic governance using debt panic as cover.

We do need spending reform. But that requires transparency, public accountability, and democratic process—not billionaire savior myths and demonization of citizens who dare to resist.

Keep worshiping these subhuman clowns and you’ll eventually find out they were never on your side to begin with. What amazes me about the comments, not to mention the whole dumbass article. Is the absolute willful ignorance to look the other way. Do you honestly think these people care about you? The answer is no. That’s why they go out of their way to create these non-human things called AI, which will then take your jobs, and that will give them the justification to , “Oh, depopulation is a good thing” …. I just hope you clowns wake the fuck up. Orange Jesus is not on your side. Look at his cabinet selections, they are all dual citizenship, people, then during his first week, he Greenlet a $500 billion project for mRNA, which we all know is absolutely lethal and dangerous. Then you have Elon Musk promoting mRNA and AI…. Like how stupid can you dumbasses be? I’ll leave it there..

As for the continuing argument, of we need a governing body to monitor where the money is going …. I say to you this, when they can print money that you have to work for, what does it even matter? It’s all artificially manipulated and fake anyway… wake up
